Founded by Stevie Smith in 2018, Boston’s Pet Transport has become recognized as an industry leader in pet transportation services, and it starts with the people we have chosen to bring on to our team.
We don’t just hire employees, we hire members of our family who we entrust with the care of our most precious cargo – the pets we hand-deliver. This is why every one of our staff members has been background checked, has a clean motor vehicle record, and is pet CPR certified. With a love of pets and a dream for providing quality pet transportation services, Stevie launched Boston’s Pet Transport in 2018. She is committed to ensuring the complete satisfaction of pets and pet parents. Stevie’s Boston Terrier, Parker, often accompanies her on route (hence our name)!
Michelle has been with Boston’s Pet Transport since the early days as co-owner! A pet parent and lover herself, she enjoys caring for the variety of pets onboard her van during transports! Michelle is passionate about rescue work and some of her favorite transports are helping get shelter dogs to new homes!
Michelle’s husband, Scott, joined the Boston’s Pet Transport team shortly after Michelle did. As passionate about rescue work as his wife, he finds that aspect of the job particularly rewarding! He loves seeing dogs (and other pets) who have had a hard life get a chance at beautiful, new beginnings!
Being pet owners and lovers ourselves, we saw a need for quality, affordable, compassion pet transportation services. And not just services that catered to dogs and cats, but services that catered to exotic and zoological animals as well.
Over the years, the number of pet transporters willing and able to work with exotic species has declined rapidly. They either don’t have the experience, or lack the resources in order to do so.
These animals have special needs. Our staff members have received extensive training to work with them. Whether moving a dog, cat, parrot or monkey, pets all receive the same high quality, compassionate care people have come to know, love, and expect from Boston’s Pet Transport.
